Pastor Edgar Caubang
FCC Church Growth Office
Pastor Edgar, born July 17, 1963 in Batangas City, Philippines. Fourth of six children of Abelardo and Conchita. He finished AB Economics, University of Santo Tomas in 1984.
In year 2000, he accepted Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour at the Filipino Christian Church(FCC) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Bro. Smith Daddi invited him in their bible study group with Bro Vic and Sis Susan Valla opened their flat for them to stay.
The couple and Pastor Boyet with their brothers and sisters in bible study group live up to the FCC theme and disciple them to grow in the Lord.
His Christian life was full of challenges all witnessed by FCC through the years;
Visa problem : He came from Saudi found the Lord in FCC, got a job and brought his wife with him however, his visa expired only after 1 1/2 years of praying got his valid visa and a job that can sponsor his family.
Death of his loved one : Lost his daughter – He got his family except for her 13 year old daughter who got sick with dengue and gone with the Lord.
His Health : Almost paralyzed He got sick which doctors could not diagnosed for 1 1/2 years. Finally, MRI results in UAE showed he would be paralyzed for life. God healed him, provided Dr. Ong of Chinese General Hospital with wisdom and perform laminectory of his spine.
His youngest daughter’s health : His wife was diagnosed with hyperthyrodism, her medical treatment would affect the health of the baby in her womb to be born with physical and mental abnormalities. Miraculously, God gave them a normal baby as a gift, named Bithia.
One thing that he is sure, the Lord would hang on to keep hold of us not letting go – no matter how difficult the circumstances were in. He is the one really holding on, not us – why lose hope.
He first served in Praise and Worship and became deacon and elder. He is serving the Lord as lay pastor.
He is married to Rocelli Caubang of Batangas City and is blessed with five(5) children : Denise Edelle, Edgar Egan, Edgar Keehan, Ruth Jahnissi, Bithia.

One thing he believes, our faith is centered on our saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Like with other relationships it should be healthy and we enjoy incomparable peace and joy that no one can provide.
